OVERVIEW AND EXPECTATIONS
Amarante was born on the banks of the Tâmega river. During the 16th century that John III ordered the construction of the Monastery of St. Gonçalo on top of the chapel next to the bridge over the river, where according to tradition, St. Gonçalo lived and was buried.
Continue to the town of Peso da Régua was born from the merger of the villages of Peso and Régua, stretching along the banks of the Douro river. The region is widely known and used for regular cruises.
Admire a wonderful view of the vineyard-covered slopes with a visit to the Pinhão historic railway station, one of the most emblematic of the Douro, which with its impressive 24 tile panels, portraits the reality of Douro landscapes and wine tradition.

For cancellations 7 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. Between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent fee. For cancellations within 2 days, there is a 100 percent fee.
