WINE EXPERIENCES

Unique and thrillingly
Lisbon
The Atlantic and the Tagus

THINGS TO DO

  • Discover the region

  • Visit three Vineyards and enjoy their wine tastings

  • Visit the largest oriental garden in Europe

OVERVIEW AND EXPECTATIONS

You will be picked up at your accommodation in Lisbon. This is a long and stretched region running between the Atlantic and the Tagus river. The wind is a strong feature on the coastlines, giving the coastal wines a wind-stressed and hard pressed to rip the grapes. A little bit inland you will encounter a backbone area made from hills and mountain ranges that offers protection to many eastern parts of this region.

With this Wine Excursion, you are going to visit a vineyard on the coastline and a vineyard behind the backbone of Lisbon so that you will discover, experience and taste both of these weather influences and why the impact on the flavour is so big.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the famous Buddha Eden Garden the largest oriental garden in Europe. The Garden is part of Quinta dos Loridos, an extension of the famous Bacalhôa, where you will enjoy a great tasting.
