You will be picked-up at your accommodation in Lisbon and head to Algarve. Despite the fact that the border with Alentejo is only 45 km away from the coastline, the Algarve suffers none of the Alentejo’s extreme temperatures. Beautiful chains of mountains run all the way between the Spanish border and the Atlantic coast that separates the two regions and blocks the heat and dry winds from the North. Leaving the western Algarve under the perfect influences of the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern part of Algarve under the fresher and humid Atlantic influences.

A perfect option for this Wine Excursion is to overnight in one of the most famous resorts in the Algarve. You can experience the famous flavours of the Algarve and an extraordinary wine tasting guided by your personal sommelier in one of the most famous wine cellars in Portugal.
