DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PORTO
The city is located on the hills overlooking the Douro river estuary. Porto has always been a mercantile city, and this is evident in the style of the buildings lining the Avenida dos Aliados toward the center of downtown area. Filled with such beautiful history and historical monuments, Porto is full of life.

DAY 2: PORTO
Today you can uncover Porto on your own. Breathe in the beauties the amazing senses from all the great restaurants hidden in all the beautiful narrow streets. Discover the beautiful views from the top of the famous D. Luis Bridge where you can walk to the other side of the Douro River and view the gorgeous former monastery of Serra do Pilar dating back to the 15th century.

DAY 3: GUIMARÃES & BRAGA
Guimarães, which is considered the birthplace of Portugal because Afonso Henriques, who went on to be the first king of Portugal, was born here. The city still has a harmonious, well-preserved heritage that is evident in the graceful iron balconies, mansions, arches connecting the narrow streets, paving slabs smoothed by time, towers and cloisters.

DAY 5: PAIVA WALKWAYS
Today you will visit the beautiful Paiva Walkways. The guide and driver will pick you up and drive you to the stunning Arouco Geopark. The Walkways are located on the left bank of the Paiva River, in Arouca municipality, Aveiro, Portugal. They are 8 km that provide a walk "untouched", surrounded by unique beauty of landscapes, in an authentic natural sanctuary along the brave waters downhills, quartz crystals and endangered species in Europe. The route extends from the river beaches of Areinho and Espiunca, lying between them, the Vau beach. A journey through biology, geology and archeology that will remain, of course, in heart, soul and in mind of any nature lover.

Spend your last days exploring Porto at you own pace. We suggest a trip to one of Porto’s attractive Atlantic beaches, such as Miramar in Vila Nova de Gaia.

DAY 8: BACK HOME
