OVERVIEW AND EXPECTATIONS 

Explore the metropolitan of Portugal filled with beautiful restaurants and bars, colourful little and steep streets. Sense the history of the capital and it is almost if the walls are talking to you. Your voyage begins in Lisbon, where some of the highlights are Santa Justa Lift near the beautiful Carmo’s square, Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery and Monument to the Discoveries. You will have plenty of time to discover the seven hills and riverside filled with terraces and bars with an amazing atmosphere.

You will make your way to the Peninsula of Tróia known for the lively marina, the great fish restaurants, the beautiful Livramento Market in Setúbal and of course the white beaches. After your beach days you will continue your way to the South and discover Alentejo and its bottled poetry.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LISBON

Located next to the Tagus river, widely spread over seven hills, Lisbon is a historical and glorious waterfront of the river. Filled with a rich history the city is full of life, the astonishing restaurants and bars the spectacular nightlife spread over the city makes it a delight to browse through. We will meet you at the airport and drive you to your Hotel located in the heart of Lisbon.

DAY 2: LISBON

In your first morning in Lisbon you will be provided with a guide that will introduce you to Lisbon in a private tour. Explore Baixa and the steep streets of Alfama. Then head to Chiado, Lisbon’s main shopping streets. After lunch you will head to Belém, known for Portugal’s seafaring past like the 16th-century Tower and the sail-shaped Discoveries Monument. Taste the traditional egg custard known as Pastel de Belém and traditional Portuguese cuisine at its finest.

DAY 3: LISBON

Explore the city on your own. Wander around the city and visit the beautiful Mercado da Ribeira for the best street food Europe has to offer. In the afternoon relax at one of the beautiful rooftop bars, viewpoint bars or at one of the terraces along the banks of the Tagus river.

DAY 4: LISBON > TRÓIA

You will be heading a little bit more to the South today. Your driver will pick you up at the hotel make your way to the beautiful national park region called Arrábida, known for having one of the most beautiful coastlines on the Atlantic surrounded by the old vineyards and beautiful fishing towns.

Get to know Setúbal, very famous for their sardines and fishing community and the beautiful market called Mercado do Livramento. But does not end here. The driver will drop you off at the ferry that will bring you to Tróia where you will enjoy a relaxed time next to beautiful white sand beaches.

DAY 5: SETÚBAL & ARRÁBIDA

You will be heading a little bit more to the South today. Your driver will pick you up at the hotel make your way to the beautiful national park region called Arrábida, known for having one of the most beautiful coastlines on the Atlantic surrounded by the old vineyards and beautiful fishing towns.

Convento do Espinheiro Hotel & Spa

DAY 6: TRÓIA > ÉVORA

Today you will be heading to Évora – a city in the Alentejo Region that still remains within the city walls. The history of this UNESCO World Heritage city dates back until the 12th century. You will be picked up by your driver and guide and make your way to Évora to visit the highlights of the city, such as the Roman Temple of Diana, the bone’s chapel and the cathedral. After lunch, we will make our way to a vineyard visit. With its unique climate conditions, the vineyards of the region produce some of the best Portuguese wines and you will taste the best that Portugal has to offer.

DAY 7: ÉVORA

Spend the day just strolling and relaxing or explore the region at your own steam. There are beautiful little villages to explore around Évora, such as Arraiolos or Estremoz, known as the marble city. There are other famous wineries around the city, such as the former Royal Adega Dona Maria, used in the past by the King of Portugal to hide his mistresses from the Queen.

We would not let your holiday end without something special… to wrap up we will organise a spectacular experience in a Sunset Hot Air Balloon ride.

DAY 8: BACK HOME

Enjoy a great breakfast and it is time to say farewell. You will be picked up by your driver and head back to the airport in Lisbon to return home after a delightful Holiday.
